Privacy Policy

WedRelay helps couples, planners and wedding professionals coordinate a shared wedding workspace. This policy explains what information WedRelay processes, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

We may process account information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, company information and role. When you use a wedding workspace, you may add wedding details, timelines, tasks, vendors, confirmations, messages, polls, notes and uploaded documents or images.

Wedding Moments guest photos

Wedding guests may use a Wedding Moments QR link without creating a WedRelay account. Before sharing photos, a guest is asked to enter a display name. WedRelay processes that name, the uploaded photo, basic file information, and an anonymous browser/device session identifier used to remember the guest experience and enforce the wedding's guest-photo limit. Guest-upload QR links do not expose the private finished gallery. Couple Admins control in-app photo access. Couple Admins may also turn on a separate read-only after-wedding gallery link for approved photos, optionally protect it with a PIN, and decide whether public gallery visitors may download photos. Admins can turn that gallery link off or replace it at any time.

Information created through use

We may process technical and usage information needed to operate, secure and improve WedRelay, including authentication records, device or notification tokens, browser or device information, feature events, error information and basic analytics.

Purchase and entitlement information

Apple processes purchases made through the iOS app, and Stripe processes purchases made on the WedRelay website. WedRelay does not receive or store your full payment-card number. WedRelay may receive and process limited transaction or entitlement information such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, subscription status, purchase state, renewal state or wedding-unlock status so we can activate purchases, restore access, provide support, prevent fraud and keep account entitlements accurate.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service; authenticate accounts; display shared wedding information to authorized participants; deliver invitations, confirmations and notifications; support users; investigate abuse or reports; improve product reliability; and process, validate or restore purchases when paid features are used.

Sharing inside a wedding

WedRelay is collaborative. Information you post to a wedding workspace may be visible to other authorized members of that wedding according to their role and permissions. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.

Service providers

WedRelay uses service providers to operate the product. These may include Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Vercel for website hosting and analytics; Apple for iOS distribution, in-app purchases, subscription management and push-notification infrastructure when those features are enabled; Stripe for website checkout, subscription billing and billing-account management; and advertising or attribution platforms such as Pinterest when conversion tracking or advertising is enabled. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Messages, reporting and blocking

Users can report messages they believe are abusive, spam, inappropriate or privacy-invasive, and can block other users from appearing in their chat view. Reports may be reviewed to protect users and enforce acceptable-use rules.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform. You can initiate permanent account deletion from Settings. If you are the sole manager of a wedding, deleting your account may also delete that wedding workspace and its associated data. If other eligible managers remain, the wedding may remain available to them while your personal account is removed. Some limited records may be retained where legally required or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or purchase-support records.

Your choices

You can update profile and notification preferences in Settings, change your email or password through supported account flows, block users, report messages and initiate account deletion. Browser or device settings may also control notifications and analytics-related permissions.

Children

WedRelay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use access controls, authentication, row-level database security and other technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as WedRelay changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when material revisions are made.
